Terms of Use

Last updated: 22 October 2026

These Terms govern your use of the Drinder mobile application and the website drinder.eu (together, the “Service”). The Service is provided by Shvets Ventures SIA, a company registered in Latvia, registration No. 40203464635, VAT LV40203464635, legal address Ilūkstes iela 36-52, Rīga, LV-1082, Latvia (“we”, “us”). Contact: [email protected].

By creating an account you agree to these Terms and acknowledge our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Who can use Drinder

2. What Drinder is — and is not

Drinder helps adults who are nearby and available right now find company for a drink. You “go live” for a limited time; while live, other live users within your chosen radius can see your profile and an approximate distance to you. When two people like each other, they can chat until the first of them goes offline.

Drinder does not sell or deliver alcohol, does not organise events, and is not a party to any meeting between users. We do not run criminal background checks. A “verified” badge only means that a moderator compared a selfie with the profile photos; it is not a guarantee of a person's identity, age or intentions.

3. Drink responsibly and stay safe

4. Your account

Keep your phone and login secure; you are responsible for activity on your account. You can delete your account at any time in the app (Profile → Delete account). Deletion is immediate and permanent.

5. Your content

You keep ownership of the photos, texts and messages you submit (“Content”). You grant us a non‑exclusive, worldwide, royalty‑free licence to host, store, resize and display your Content solely to operate and improve the Service, for as long as it remains on the Service. You confirm that you have the rights to the Content and that it shows you.

You must not post or send Content, and must not behave in a way, that:

6. Moderation, reports and blocking

You can block or report any user in one tap. Reporting a user also blocks them and closes your chat. We review reports and may remove Content, restrict features, or suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms, with or without notice where safety requires. If you believe we made a mistake, write to [email protected].

7. Partner bar offers

Some venues are Drinder partners and offer deals to matched users (for example, a discount on the first round). Offers are provided by the venue, which alone is responsible for honouring them, for the products it serves, and for complying with alcohol laws, including age checks. Offers may change or end at any time, have no cash value, and a code may be used once per pair unless stated otherwise.

8. Price

The Service is currently free. If we introduce paid features, we will show the price and conditions before you buy, and purchases through the App Store will also be subject to Apple's terms.

9. Changes and availability

The Service is under active development and is provided “as is” and “as available”. We may change or discontinue features. We will notify you in the app or on this page of material changes to these Terms; continuing to use the Service after changes take effect means you accept them.

10. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for the conduct of any user, online or offline, for meetings arranged through the Service, for alcohol consumption, or for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, gross negligence or wilful misconduct, or any rights you have as a consumer under mandatory law.

11. Apple App Store

If you downloaded the app from the Apple App Store: these Terms are between you and us, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for the app or its content, has no obligation to provide maintenance or support, and, to the maximum extent permitted by law, has no warranty obligation regarding the app. We, not Apple, are responsible for handling any claims relating to the app, including product liability, legal or regulatory compliance and intellectual‑property claims. You confirm that you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo and are not on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties. Apple and its subsidiaries are third‑party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you.

12. Law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Latvia. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of mandatory consumer laws of the country where you live. Disputes are resolved by the courts of Latvia, without prejudice to your right as a consumer to bring proceedings in your country of residence. Consumers in Latvia may also contact the Consumer Rights Protection Centre (ptac.gov.lv).
